Make it so you aren't really visible when they just "tag" you, but can still kinda see you. However, if they scan you and other people for say 5 seconds, they become as visible as they are now. Also, how bright people show up will be determined on how low/high their dB level is, but this shouldn't stop people who are aware of things.

I like the idea of your signature impacting the way you show up during scans. What I'd like to see is for the scan to fade more quickly the closer the signature is to the scan precision. So if you get your scout suit down to 18 dB and someone brings out a 15 dB scanner, you still benefit from having a lower signature because you won't stay on the radar as long as someone with a 55 dB signature. I would love for my 2 enhanced dampeners being better than my 1 enhanced and basic dampener fitting.

This will also fix the scan spam because almost no one will use them :D No. It would still be useful for pointing out enemy locations like say, if there's a giant fight like most games have. However, that sneaky and fast scout will be able to skillfully bypass your scanner. It would be up to you if you want to scan him, or scan the rest of the enemy team. EDIT: fixed spelling errors
